Lennart Gassner is studying for his master's degree in Innovation Management and has now arrived at his graduation research. He is conducting this at organisational consulting firm The Next Organisation.
Lennart studies at Eindhoven University of Technology. Earlier, he completed a bachelor's degree in Technical Business Administration there. His master's in Innovation Management focuses, among other things, on making business models more sustainable, a subject that is close to his heart and increasingly important.
"It is now all too clear that we all need to make an effort to reduce the burden on our earth," Lennart points out. "The way companies deal with this grabs me."
Graduation research
Lennart started looking for a suitable place for his graduation research, where he could further develop his interest in making business models more sustainable. He ended up at The Next Organisation (TNXTO), a strategic consultancy specialising in commercial transformation and innovation. TNXTO helps many organisations at home and abroad to optimise and innovate their business models.
At TNXTO, he is now plunging into his graduation research. The research focuses on developing a model that provides insight into the impact of ecological initiatives on both environmental and economic sustainability, partly as input for the business case for such initiatives.
Lennart looks back on an excellent start at the Bussum-based organisation consultancy, where he has now been working for about three months. "I am very satisfied with my choice of TNXTO. I received a very warm welcome, which made my start-up phase smooth and pleasant. The approachable atmosphere certainly helped with this."
Good balance
In particular, it is the "balance between a relaxed working atmosphere" and the "drive to actively roll up your sleeves" that Lennart appreciates about his new working environment. "Everyone knows when to work hard and with a lot of energy, which also made me very motivated to work hard from moment one!"
For Lennart, the topic he is researching fits perfectly with his academic interests and offers him the opportunity to gain concrete and valuable insights in the coming period. With his research on sustainable business models, the young academic hopes to contribute not only to knowledge within his field, but also to the sustainable development of companies.
"With my good start at The Next Organisation, I am looking forward to the coming period and hope to finish my project with a great result," concludes Lennart.
