Last week, in collaboration with Qompas, we organised our Strategic Marketing Consultancy Day 2018 and welcomed twenty students and young professionals. The participants were given an impression of the consultancy profession and, during this in-house day, got a look behind the scenes of The Next Organization.
The day started with a warm welcome by one of the partners, Steije Renes. After an extensive introduction about our company, the participants were divided into four teams to play the Marketing and Sales game.
Marketing and Sales game
Our Marketing and Sales game is a gamification game based on a real-life customer case. The aim of the game is to achieve the highest possible Life Time Value from the selected target group. The game is built up in three rounds; the participants were first asked to think about Customer Targeting, then to think about the Customer Journey and finally to determine a Market Approach. At the end of the afternoon, the teams were challenged in the water tower to pitch their own strategy to the Dragon's Den.
Four teams, one winner and a drink
This year, the teams once again managed to surprise us with creative ideas, good strategies and inspiring pitches. But in the end, only one team could be the winner and that was team 2!
We ended the day with drinks. This gave the participants the opportunity to get to know all consultants extensively and to hear in personal conversations what it is like to work at The Next Organization. We look back on a successful day and who knows, we might soon be able to introduce new colleagues.
