This summer, Liselotte Nellestijn and Ludo van Wezel started their careers at The Next Organisation, both as Junior Consultants.

Liselotte Nellestijn completed a master's degree in International Management prior to her commencement. Her thesis research focused on the performance of multinationals in Sub-Saharan Africa, in which entrepreneurial culture plays a role.

In addition to acquired study knowledge, Liselotte already brings some work experience to the Bussum-based strategic consultancy firm, which focuses on improving the commercial performance of organisations. Among other things, she worked as a sales coordinator and project coordinator at various organisations.

She now wants to use her knowledge and experience to help organisations grow. "Writing strategic advice for (inter)national growth requires knowledge about the specific needs and characteristics of the target market," Liselotte says. "Thereby, cultural values can influence, for example, purchasing behaviour and the acceptance of products and services."

As a consultant at The Next Organisation, she looks forward to supporting clients in formulating a sustainable and inclusive growth strategy. This is only possible if "(inter)cultural differences are taken into account within a strategic plan," she says. "I believe that you can only write a valuable and sustainable strategic consulting plan if you have a diverse team where everyone is heard and valued."

At her new employer, according to Liselotte, that's just fine. "At The Next Organization, there is an open and encouraging culture, bringing out the best in everyone and achieving the best results together."

Ludo van Wezel started fresh out of school at The Next Organisation in early July. Before that, he completed two masters at Tilburg University, one in strategy management and one in finance. He also gained experience abroad in the past year, as well as work experience in value realisation and change management.

As a Junior Consultant, Ludo hopes to learn more about different companies and how they can grow their business. He therefore sees The Next Organisation as an optimal place to develop further in the coming years.

"The focus within The Next Organization on using knowledge and collaboration in the search for sustainable value creation is what makes The Next Organization so special," Ludo said. "I am ready to come up with sustainable solutions together with clients to create value for the future."
