Building Resilient Business Models in Collaboration with the Network

In cooperation with

Development & Research Programme

This programme examines how organisations define and integrate sustainability into their business models. Participating organisations gain in-depth insight into the current state of their sustainable practices, their dependence on external factors and - most importantly - the untapped opportunities to create long-term value. By fostering collaboration with partners within the wider network, the programme focuses on unlocking new potential for resilient and forward-looking growth.

Approach

The Development & Research Programme works according to a structured three-step approach, guiding organisations step-by-step from inspiration and insight to a concrete roadmap for sustainable development.

Inspiration

Transformation starts with inspiration. In regional groups of ten organisations, we dive into the latest trends, the key aspects of future-proof business models and how to find synergy in them. We also explore the Network Business Model Canvas and exchange perspectives on cooperation.

Scan

By applying the Resilient Business Model Scan and the Performance Driver Scan participating organisations gain clear insights into their position on sustainability, performance and collaboration. These insights create transparency and make the ambition for sustainable transformation concrete.

Roadmap

Combined with the organisation's vision and goals, the results of the scans and peer sessions provide a solid basis for action. This leads to a clear and tailor-made roadmap for further development, taking concrete steps towards a resilient and collaborative business model.

Resilient Business Model

Organisations strive for long-term results, but the transformation to a sustainable business model is challenging. The key lies in finding synergies between different aspects of sustainability, embedding them in core processes and aligning them with strategic priorities. When sustainability becomes an integrated part of the business case, it drives structural resilience and sustainable performance - from ad hoc solutions to long-term value.

Economic sustainability
Ensuring long-term profitability and financial continuity while allowing growth.

Social sustainability
Promoting social well-being by enhancing inclusion, engagement and social value added.

Ecological sustainability
Operating in an environmentally conscious manner by offering products and services that preserve nature and enhance biodiversity.

Cooperation within the wider network

Organisations are increasingly collaborating within networks or ecosystems. To create impact, it is essential to understand both collective and individual partner value. Transparency in activities and value exchange is crucial here. The Network Business Model Canvas helps organisations achieve this transparency and offers insights into designing and optimising collaboration.

The programme

The programme is flexible in duration and can be adapted to the needs of the participating organisation(s). It can be organised as a series of workshops or as a two-day in-company programme.
